Forensic Technician

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Forensic Technician to join our Environmental Science division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Forensic Technician to join our Environmental Science team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to examine exhibits and prepare samples to strict quality standards. An interest in forensic science and laboratory work is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Examining forensic exhibits and preparing samples for analysis
- Maintaining laboratory records and equipment checks
- Supporting quality investigations and audits
Qualifications
To be a successful Forensic Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Understanding of laboratory health & safety procedures
- Good IT and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
