Job Overview

Burfield Financial Planning was established in 2010 and has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality financial advice. Our team of four Advisers has over 40 years of combined industry experience. While we specialise in retirement planning, we also offer a comprehensive range of financial solutions to meet our clients' needs.

We are seeking a Financial Services Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role within the administration function, providing support to Advisers, Paraplanners, and fellow Administrators to ensure the efficient delivery of client services.

About the Role

Office-based
Full-time
Permanent
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm)

Responsibilities

Prepare annual review reports using company templates.
Complete and submit annual review files in accordance with company procedures.
Obtain pre-sale documentation, including quotations and supporting information.
Process new business applications through to completion across pensions, investments, and other financial planning products.
Ensure all relevant client documentation is accurately maintained on the back-office system.
Ensure client withdrawals are processed by providers in a timely manner and followed through to completion.
Liaise with clients, advisers, and product providers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met.
Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls as required.
Book appointments and assist with diary and calendar management.
Carry out general administrative and office duties as required.

Ideal Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role within a financial services business is desirable.
Experience producing valuations and preparing reports would be advantageous.
Experience using Intelligent Office and Dynamic Planner would be beneficial.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Confident and professional telephone manner.
Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
