About Us:
Arb-Agri Contracting Ltd are a trusted and well-established arboricultural services provider, known for our high safety standards, professionalism and quality of work. We are currently looking to expand our team and are seeking a highly skilled Arborist team leader + 1st climber with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tree pruning, felling and dismantling using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Tree health assessments and risk evaluations
- Use of chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and rigging equipment
- Groundwork and site clearance as needed
- Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently to high standards
- Liaising with clients and team members professionally on-site
- Maintenance of all equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience as a Tree Surgeon/Arborist
- Relevant NPTC or LANTRA qualifications (CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 as a minimum)
- Strong knowledge of tree species, diseases and safe working practices
- Full clean UK driving licence (preferably with towing capability)
- Excellent physical fitness, comfort working at heights and working outside in all types of weather
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
- Have a good understanding of risk assessments/COSHH etc.
Desirable:
- First Aid certification
- MEWP certification
- Experience leading small teams or supervising jobs
