Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in accurately dispensing medications, supporting patient care, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
Provide excellent patient care
Maintain meticulous records of stock levels
Ensure all medications are stored correctly and expiry dates are monitored regularly
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes
Provide over the counter advice to patients under the supervision of the pharmacist
Undertake any necessary work as may be required and appropriate to maintain a high standard and efficient pharmacy service

Qualifications

Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser is preferred
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards
