About the Role

Due to increased expansion, we are currently seeking a Finishing machine Operator for our busy Label Department to operate state-of-the-art finishing machinery for the production labels to meet exact customer specifications.

Previous print and finishing experience is desirable, but applicants will be issued with a full program.

Key Responsibilities

Operate finishing machines to slit and finish printed self-adhesive labels.
Assist in the shrink wrapping of finished products
Ensure finished products meet customer specifications (e.g., quantity, rewind instructions, number of labels per roll).
Maintain cleanliness and complete machine maintenance logs as per company standards.
Promptly report machine issues to the Team Leader.
Maintain a tidy and safe working area in accordance with BRCGS food hygiene and ISO14001 environmental standards.
Support general factory operations as needed.
Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and quality control policies, reporting incidents to a Team Supervisor or Director.

Strong interpersonal and team-working skills
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities under pressure

Shift Information

Alternative Shifts:
5:50am – 1:30pm
1:30pm – 9:10pm
