THE JOB

Initially the apprenticeship will be a variation of in-house and external training through a local engineering centre
With training, be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing equipment on site in an industrial environment
Working with electrical components / systems of varying size working in a methodical and systematic way
The environment will be varied involving new/old equipment
Heavy industry environment

THE PERSON

Flexible and understanding of the needs of the business
Take full responsibility for their training and college courses
High degree of dexterity and a willingness to learn
Candidate must be enthusiastic with a natural interest and aptitude for electrical engineering
GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent including Maths and English and/or BTEC Electrical qualification or equivalent
Own transport essential due to location
