Residential Property Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive / Licensed Conveyancer
Location: Forever Legal - Altrincham
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Competitive, negotiable depending on experience
OTE: Up to £90,000 including performance bonus
PQE: Minimum 5 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience)

The Key Requirements
We are looking for an experienced residential property lawyer with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience), excellent technical knowledge and proven experience handling complex residential conveyancing matters.
You should be confident dealing with complex title investigations, unregistered land, leasehold property, title defects, restrictive covenants, easements and rights, as well as specialist lending matters including equity release, bridging finance and re-mortgages.
You will also need to demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills, a pragmatic approach to solving technical legal problems, and the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
Experience with Proclaim is desirable but not essential. Experience supervising colleagues or acting as a technical point of contact would be advantageous.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including technically challenging matters such as:
- Unregistered land and complex title investigations
- Leasehold property
- Specialist lending, including equity release, bridging finance and re-mortgages
- Title defects and indemnity insurance
- Restrictive covenants, easements and rights
- Unusual or technically complex conveyancing matters
- Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
We believe exceptional client relationships are built through communication. You will be encouraged to speak directly with clients, understand their individual circumstances, explain complex legal issues clearly and provide practical advice throughout the transaction.

About You
You will ideally have:
- Minimum 5 years’ PQE or equivalent experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of residential conveyancing
- Proven experience handling complex residential property transactions
- Confidence dealing with unregistered land and complex title issues
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find pragmatic legal solutions
- Outstanding client care and communication skills
- A proactive, organised and independent approach to managing your caseload
- The ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the wider team
- Experience with Proclaim (desirable, but not essential)
- Experience supervising colleagues or acting as a technical point of contact (advantageous)
