2 Full-Time Positions (40 hours) - Shifts typically vary between 6:00 am – 11:00 pm.

Your country home away from home, nestled within 12 acres of picturesque Hertfordshire countryside. Sopwell House is a luxurious, family-owned Georgian country house hotel offering timeless elegance and modern comfort. We’re proud to be a place where exceptional service is delivered with warmth, pride and purpose. We’re currently looking for passionate Public Area Attendants to join our dedicated Housekeeping team.

Your role in our family:

Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel, ensuring every guest area is immaculate and welcoming
Take pride in being part of our exceptional Housekeeping team, where attention to detail and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do
Take primary responsibility for maintaining public areas, including corridors, stairwells, and guest toilets, to the highest standard at all times
Support the wider housekeeping operation by stocking supply carts, assisting with deep cleaning projects
Play an important role in creating a memorable guest experience—because every detail matters

What would make you the perfect fit?

Previous experience in a cleaning, housekeeping, or similar role, with a strong eye for detail.
A good level of English, both written and spoken, to communicate confidently with guests and colleagues.
A naturally approachable and friendly manner – you enjoy helping others and creating a welcoming environment.
A true team player attitude, supporting and uplifting those around you.
The ability to work flexibly, with shifts scheduled between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
Strong multi-tasking skills – staying calm and organised even when things get busy.
