About the Role
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Bakery School Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our Bakery School during our busy weekend workshops.
Based at our Wembley location, you will be the first point of contact for customers attending our renowned baking experiences. You will manage reception duties, customer enquiries, workshop administration, and provide operational support to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Front of House
- Welcome customers and visitors to the Bakery School.
- Manage the reception and front-of-house area.
- Provide a professional and friendly first impression.
Guest Check-In
- Check customers into workshops and verify bookings.
- Send joining instructions and relevant workshop information.
- Ensure attendance records are accurate and up to date.
Customer Service
- Manage the Bakery School inbox and telephone enquiries.
- Assist customers with bookings, amendments, and general enquiries.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
Administration & Reporting
- Complete daily administrative tasks and operational logs.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and workshop reports.
- Record customer feedback and support reporting requirements.
Operations Support
- Support the delivery of weekend workshops.
- Coordinate daily schedules and communicate effectively with the Bakery School team.
- Assist with the smooth running of classes and events.
Inventory & Merchandising
- Monitor merchandise sales and stock levels.
- Support postage and dispatch requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
Facilities & Technical Support
- Report website booking issues and operational concerns promptly.
- Escalate facilities issues to management as required.
Financial Administration
- Process customer payments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and transactions.
- Support basic financial administration activities.
About YouEssential
- Previous experience in a reception, front-of-house, retail, or customer service role.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital systems.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
Desirable
- Experience within a bakery, culinary school, hospitality, or food environment.
- Training in hospitality management, administration, or culinary arts.
- Interest in baking, food, and customer experiences.
- Knowledge of workshop booking systems.
