Working hours: 35 hours per week – working (5) days in 7 across Monday - Saturday – 09:00/16:00 & Sundays 11:00/18:00

You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.
You’ll be required to work 2 out of 4 Sundays per month at Totton Delivery Office.

This role is physically demanding and fast-paced:

Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)

About you
We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:

A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)

Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment

Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags

Reliable and self-motivated

Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
