Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Market Analyst specialising in Business Strategy to join our dynamic team. This role involves interpreting complex data sets, conducting market research, and providing strategic insights to support business growth and decision-making. The successful candidate will utilise advanced data analysis tools and visualisation software to deliver actionable recommendations that align with organisational objectives. Duties

Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets using statistical software such as R, SAS, or SPSS to identify trends and patterns relevant to market dynamics.
Develop comprehensive data visualisations using Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Conduct market research by analysing industry reports, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to inform strategic planning.
Utilise SQL and Python to extract and manipulate data from various databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance of information used for analysis.
Prepare detailed reports summarising findings, including recommendations for marketing strategies and business development opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into broader organisational strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing marketing campaigns or business initiatives.
Stay abreast of emerging trends in data analysis tools and techniques relevant to market research and business strategy.

Experience

Proven experience in data analysis or market research roles, preferably within a corporate or consultancy environment.
Strong proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics.
Hands-on experience with statistical software including R, SAS, or SPSS is essential.
Demonstrable ability to work with SQL databases and scripting languages like Python for data extraction and manipulation.
Knowledge of marketing principles combined with excellent analytical skills to interpret complex datasets into strategic insights.
Familiarity with market research methodologies and statistical techniques used in analysing consumer behaviour and industry trends.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
