Assistant Manager – Molly's Bar & Restaurant

Molly's Bar & Restaurant is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys leading and developing a team, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. Working alongside park management you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our busy bar and restaurant at Coed Helen Holiday Park.
This role is initially offered on a seasonal basis, reflecting the seasonal nature of Molly's Bar & Restaurant. However, there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to progress into a permanent position within the group. This will be based on the candidate initially demonstrating commitment, reliability, flexibility, and consistently high performance. During quieter periods at Molly's, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at an additional location within the company providing greater continuity of employment and supporting the transition into a permanent role with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management team in the day-to-day operation of the business.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the front-of-house team by setting a positive example.
- Assist with staff training, development, and performance management.
- Manage shifts effectively, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and smooth service.
- Maintain exceptional standards of customer service, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, cash handling, and other operational procedures.
- Support the planning and delivery of events, functions, and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant licensing, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous supervisory (minimum required) management experience (preferred) within a hospitality environment is essential,
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A positive, hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- The flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays is a requirement.
- A Personal Licence is desirable.
