Electrical Mate / Trainee Electrician
Due to continued growth within our electrical department, we are looking to recruit an Electrical Mate / Trainee Electrician to support our installation team.
Role
· Assist with installation of safety control systems
· Installation of cabling and containment (tray, trunking, conduit)
· Assist with routing and pulling cables
· Carry out drilling, fixing, and basic installation work
· Support panel build and general workshop activities
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment
· Opportunity to develop skills through training and progress into electrical installation work
Location(s)
The role will be based at our Caerphilly, South Wales site; however, this will involve travelling to locations throughout the UK. There may be occasional overnight stays.
Skills Required
· Good work ethic and willingness to learn
· Basic understanding of tools and construction environments
· Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
· Good practical and hands-on skills
· Reliable with a positive attitude
· Good attention to detail
Qualification
· No formal qualifications required (electrical training or college course desirable)
· Full UK driving licence preferred
