The Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Production & Events Supervisor to support our growing catering operation.
This is a structured, hands-on role focused on delivering consistent, high-quality food for our corporate clients (including ongoing buffet contracts), alongside supporting weddings and private events.
This is not a creative chef role. It is about executing systems, following recipes, and delivering consistently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Production (Core Role)
- Prepare and cook buffets and corporate menus to specification
- Follow set recipes and portioning standards precisely
- Pack, label, and prepare food for delivery
- Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards in line with company policy
Logistics & Operations
- Assist with loading/unloading vans and event equipment
- Support deliveries to local corporate clients (within ~20 miles)
- Carry out basic vehicle and equipment checks
- Maintain stock levels and report shortages
Events Support
- Assist with setup, service, and pack down at events
- Support weddings and small events as required
- Represent the company professionally on-site
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in catering, hospitality, or food production
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow systems and recipes consistently
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
- Full UK driving licence
Ideal Background:
- Contract catering, school catering, banqueting, or high-volume kitchens
- Experience with buffets or batch cooking
Working Style
- Structured, repeatable menus
- Mix of daytime production and occasional event work
- Busy periods during weddings and peak seasons
Important
This role is about consistency, reliability, and execution — not menu development or creative cooking.
Candidates must be comfortable working within systems and repeating menus to a high standard.
