Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Blind and Shutter Installer and Manufacturer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining a variety of blinds and shutters in residential and commercial settings. Duties
- Fabricate custom blinds and shutters according to client specifications
- Install blinds and shutters on windows, doors, and other designated areas with precision
- Measure accurately to ensure proper fitment and functionality of products
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on installed products
- Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and provide professional advice on product selection
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
Skills
- Proven experience in related trades is advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Ability to interpret construction plans and schematics accurately
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in measurement and installation tasks
- Good physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, and working at heights if required
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot installation issues effectively
