The Salvation Army is one of the largest, most diverse providers of social and community services after the Government. The Salvation Army forms part of the Christian church and boasts an extensive social remit, providing a range of social and community services, including services for children and the elderly, debt advice, those trapped in modern-day slavery, homeless people, individuals struggling with addiction, and people seeking employment.

Job Summary:

Willow and Shepton House are residential Lifehouses accommodating up to 67 homeless people.

Key Responsibilities:

The role of Facilities and Administration Manager is to provide effective Housing Management and Administration functions within our Residential Lifehouse Service. You will ensure there is a strong focus on customer service and be jointly responsible for ensuring our vision for a high-quality support service.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

NVQ3 or equivalent professional qualification in related field or willingness to work towards it.
Demonstrate values of integrity and accountability within working practice.
Ability to create and manage large budgets.
Leading and managing staff, including recruitment, development and performance management.
Monitoring of services in keeping with external and internal contractual targets.
Building and maintaining strong and effective partnerships with stakeholders, other services and departments, clients and staff.
Broad knowledge of statutory health and safety requirements.
Ability to collate and analyse data for production of reports including funding streams for internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft.
Ability to develop strategic development plans for both internal and external delivery.
Ability to monitor systems to ensure client arrears do not exceed an agreed limit.
Ability to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army with regard to delivering services to vulnerable people without discrimination.
