Job Overview
If you are passionate about giving children the best start in life, playing all day and providing excellent and safe care, then this might be the job for you!

We are looking for a full time nursery assistant to join our friendly team at Caerwent. Experience and qualification preferred, but we will accept an unqualified candiate for the right person, subject to taking on a qualification with us.

Responsibilities

To contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in conjunction with other staff;
To keep a proper record of achievement file on key children, for parents/carers;
Work alongside parents/carers of special needs children to provide full integration in the Setting;
Support all staff and engage in a good staff team;
Uphold standards within the Setting by adhering to all policies and procedures;
Strive to safeguard children by working to the organisation's safeguarding Code of Conduct;
Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members;

Qualifications and Role Requirements

Childcare qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, Play Learning and Development (or equivalent) or willingness to do your qualification with us.
Experience working in childcare/with children

Pay: £12.71-£14.75 per hour
