The post‑holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary, patient‑facing team and will:
Deliver a high‑quality, comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) patients on the dedicated inpatient unit and across the wider hospital, ensuring the best clinical and cost‑effective use of medicines.
Support the Paediatric Critical Care & Surgery Pharmacy team by providing ward cover within the directorate.
Use their non‑medical prescribing qualification to manage an independent caseload of ADHD patients in clinic.
Contribute to excellent clinical pharmaceutical care for patients across RMCH.
Build strong relationships with clinicians and support medicines optimisation and quality improvement initiatives.
Develop specialist expertise within their area and contribute to national networks.
Provide and participate in teaching and educational activities.
Mentor and support junior pharmacy staff, inspiring high‑quality paediatric pharmacy practice.
Line‑manage pharmacists within the Women’s and Children’s Pharmacy team.
Support delivery of the departmental audit programme.
Contribute to strategic planning and service development for pharmacy services within the CAMHS directorate.
