Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a <PERSON>. This role involves working on various landscape and construction projects, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of horticulture, gardening, and construction-related tasks, with the ability to operate a range of tools and machinery. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about outdoor work and skilled in mechanical maintenance.

Duties

Conduct landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely and efficiently.
Use hand tools for planting, digging, and general garden upkeep.
Maintain irrigation systems, inspecting for faults and making necessary repairs to ensure proper water distribution.
Operate heavy machinery including excavators for larger landscaping or construction projects.
Assist with construction tasks such as setting foundations, building structures, or installing features within outdoor spaces.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
Support team members in various gardening, horticulture, and general maintenance activities as required.

Experience

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is essential.
Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, irrigation systems, and heavy machinery operation is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools within a construction or horticultural context.
Previous experience working with excavators or similar heavy equipment will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of horticulture principles and practices related to plant care and garden design is preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. This role is suitable for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within landscape maintenance, construction, and horticulture sectors.
