Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Broad Oak, hybrid – 3 days per week on site – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa 68,000 depending on experience

Role description:

This role is responsible for delivering a large complex project, ensuring on time completion of milestones, within scope, and to a high standard. It requires managing multiple priorities across strategic initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery that meets customer expectations and business objectives.

Core Duties:

Be accountable for the budget, performance and results of the team and project
Manage a small team of project professionals whilst working collaboratively with Principal Engineering Manager and System Design Authority to ensure correct management of the projects
Understand, track and drive all financials associated with the running of projects, including CSRs, invoicing, monitoring spend v forecast and ETCs, and a strong knowledge of Earn Value Management
Multi-task to changing priorities and tight timescales whilst providing clear direction, guidance and support to the project teams
Own all project plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges in support of PEM

Essential skills:

Project Delivery experience of a large complex project
Knowledge of good Bid practice and process
Commercially astute
Financially astute
Able to resolve project related problems that do not have routine solutions
