Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and passionate art teacher to run our after school art club/s in Chalfont St Peter/ StGiles to enhance the educational experience of children as well as boost confidence.

Times: 3:30-4:30

Rate - £40-£60 depending on experience and class size

We have availabilty for teachers to teach on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays in Chalfont St Peter/St Giles

Requirements

-Enhanced DBS (already possess one)
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
-Art portfolio is a bonus

Duties

Teach various art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
Maintain an inventory of art supplies and manage classroom resources effectively.

Experience

A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred.
Previous teaching experience in an educational setting is advantageous
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
Proficiency in various artistic techniques and mediums.
A passion for fostering creativity and encouraging artistic expression among students.
Experience with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £40.00 per hour

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
