Overview
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse/Store Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse, managing stock, and assisting with various materials handling tasks. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth logistics and inventory management within our organisation.

Duties

Assist with stock organisation, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory accuracy
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Handle materials, including loading and unloading goods from lorries or vans
Support shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
Pick and pack orders accurately for delivery or storage
Utilise warehouse management systems to track stock levels and update records
Perform basic mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance
Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times, including heavy lifting protocols
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Requirements

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks within the warehouse setting
