We are looking for an experienced motor trade Service Advisor and/or Administrator to join our front of house team.

**MAIN DEALER OR MOTOR TRADE EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL, AND APPLICATIONS WITHOUT THIS ATTRIBUTE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED**

The motor trade can be a thankless place, and the Service Advisor role is ALWAYS under appreciated. In many ways it's the hardest job in the dealership to balance the companies' and the customers' needs together, but at Hawkins this is understood and appreciated.

We have a commission scheme for service plans and a bonus scheme. My challenge to the performing Service Advisors amongst you is that obtaining an OTE of between £30-35k is achievable, but there is no cap to the earnings.

Job description
Hawkins Motor Group are now recruiting, Hawkins currently employ over 220 staff members and represent at 6 motor manufacturers at eight locations across Cornwall. This is a full time permanent position working for one of Cornwall’s leading, family owned businesses. We have an opportunity to join our team at our large multi franchise site in Hayle that represents the Peugeot, Kia & MG vehicle Brands.

Customer Service Advisor

This is key role within our busy service department, working closely with our team of Technicians, Service Advisors and Service Manager and dealing with our customers directly.

Key elements of the role include:

Meeting and greeting customers and effectively handling incoming customer service enquiries and service booking visits, calls and emails by creating a friendly and professional impression.
To keep our customers updated with the progress of the work required on their vehicle.
Ensure all customers are handled with a high level of care in a professional and friendly manner in accordance with Manufacturer and company customer satisfaction policies.
To maintain an accurate and efficient schedule of appointments and associated flow of paperwork, data entry and record keeping consistent with manufacturer and company procedures.
To maximise customer satisfaction and retention, through the use of a customer follow-up systems.
Ongoing Manufacturer training on products, systems and processes to ensure you have the right knowledge to provide a first class service.

Essential Requirements

You must be able to work both individually and as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, be conscientious and systematic, stay positive at all times and have the motivation and determination to impress our customers on every occasion providing the high standards of customer service and care we have set.

Experience as a Service Receptionist/Advisor/Administrator within the Motor Industry or as a Customer Service Advisor is essential.

A full UK Driving Licence is also preferred.

This role is full time and permanent with a basic salary (dependent on experience) plus commission and bonus earnings.
