Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Head Baker to join our vibrant team. In this pivotal role, you will support the leadership in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and service standards. Your enthusiasm for culinary arts and strong organizational skills will drive the team to deliver memorable dining experiences. Duties

Assist the Head baker in managing daily kitchen activities, including food preparation and production
Supervise kitchen staff to ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
Coordinate food orders, inventory management, and stock control to maintain optimal supplies
Oversee food presentation and quality control during service periods
Support the training and development of team members in culinary techniques and safety procedures
Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols at all times
Contribute ideas for menu development, baking projects, and innovative culinary offerings

Skills

Proven experience in food production, food preparation, and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, culinary techniques, and baking processes
Excellent understanding of food safety standards and restaurant hygiene practices
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff and management seamlessly
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is highly desirable
