Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced book keeper, perhaps looking for a change of pace or reduced hours whilst supporting a local SME on the rise.

You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, using Sage to create invoices & purchase orders and supporting primary accounting functions alongside our Director.

Duties

Use Sage to manage and maintain financial records
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports as required
Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking using Breathe HR app
Support month-end and year-end procedures
Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents
Collaborate with our external accountants

Requirements

Proven experience with Sage
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity
Good communication skills and a professional attitude

In return, we are able to offer flexible working days/hours in a busy but friendly office environment. Salary of £25,000 - £35,000 pro-rata, commensurate with experience.

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
