Corona House, Cambridge
21 hours per week. Three days per week to include Wednesdays and Fridays. Hours will be worked within Monday-Friday 9-5pm. The service is unstaffed at weekends and during the evening.
Corona House is a unique women’s service uniting a diverse female population in Cambridge City. We support our women with a range of needs using a creative and flexible approach that explores each individual’s experience, motivations and aspirations.
Our service has two aspects:
-
Corona House – where we provide high quality support and accommodation for around eighteen months, to six women who would otherwise be homeless or at risk of homelessness.
-
Corona Community – a varied programme of supportive group activities available to Corona House residents, ex residents and to other local women.
We are looking for a female Support Officer to join our friendly team who will provide housing related support to our residents, and who will also join the team in planning and delivering the activity timetable to our community women.
We need a compassionate and creative woman with a high level of self-awareness who is comfortable working in a team environment and independently. If you enjoy working with groups and individuals, care about the needs of local women and have experience of supporting others to achieve their own aspirations, we would love to hear from you.
