QC Analytical Technician
VisusChem in Whittlesford are looking to recruit a QC Analytical Technician. Although full training is given, experience in a scientific testing environment with practical experience in performing analytical testing (GLP) would also be an advantage.
You must have great attention to detail, be reliable, enthusiastic, flexible and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. This will be an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a growing company.

Role Objectives
To support manufacturing operations by conducting a range of laboratory analytical tests, evaluating results, preparing and maintaining standard equipment and chemicals required for running of an analytical laboratory. Support laboratory activities while ensuring compliance to the appropriate internal and external standards, capture and report data with technical rigor and accuracy.
Knowledge and experience:
Essential
- Educated to Degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a laboratory. You should have a good knowledge of basic lab equipment.
- Practical experience in performing analytical testing (GLP)
- Well organized and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently.
- Computer literate in standard MS office applications
- Experience in using a range of instrumental and classical analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, GC-MS, UV Spectroscopy and wet chemistry.
Advantageous
- Knowledge of chromatography data handling and processing systems.
- Good working knowledge of quality / regulatory standards and quality systems, in particular GLP.

Benefits:
Salary: Range £28,500 - £30,500 DOE
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours pw, no shifts, 08:00 – 16:00
