The Opportunity
UK Phoenix Healthcare is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead our Supported Living services for people with high dependency mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and forensic backgrounds. Based in Cambridge with weekly travel to Tamworth, this is a national role focused on service quality, compliance, leadership and outcomes across the UK.

About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will hold regulatory responsibility for Supported Living services across all ages, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality care delivery. You will work closely with the Clinical Lead and senior leadership to drive service performance, business development, and continuous improvement.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Registered Manager Accountability
Hold registered responsibility for Supported Living services, ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, Care Quality Commission standards, and all statutory requirements
- Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
Lead all quality assurance activities, audits, incident investigations, and compliance reporting; ensure timely notifications to CQC and other regulatory bodies. Risk management, safeguarding, incidents and audits.
- Travel & Flexibility
Undertake travel to different regions to support services, conduct supervision, attend meetings, and maintain local relationships as required. We are a NATIONWIDE service. Based in Cambridge Office 4 days a week and Tamworth Headquarters x1 day per week ideally a Tuesday.
Induction will be held in Tamworth office, so would need to t ravel there for the first week of employment daily.
- Operational Leadership
Provide strategic and operational oversight of all-age services, including rota management, resource allocation, and safe delivery of person centred care, outcome focused and Trauma informed support.
- Team Leadership & Development
Lead, recruit, develop, and support multidisciplinary and remote-based teams; establish clear accountability, performance management, and professional development pathways
- On-Call Service Management
Oversee and manage the on-call rota system, ensuring safe cover and responsive support for field-based staff and service users
- Documentation & Reporting
Champion a culture of meticulous documentation, timely reporting, and data-driven decision-making; ensure all records meet regulatory standards and organisational requirements.
- Business Development & Growth
Drive service expansion and new business development; work to agreed financial and performance targets; build relationships with commissioners, ICBs, and NHS partners
- Stakeholder Engagement
Lead meetings with commissioners, regulators, local authorities, and other key stakeholders; represent the organisation professionally and strategically
- Innovation & Technology
Champion digital innovation, modernisation initiatives, and new ways of working to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality
- Staff Engagement & Culture
Foster an inclusive, supportive workplace culture; ensure remote and field-based staff feel connected, valued, and equipped to deliver excellent care
About You
We are seeking an accomplished, ambitious and forward-thinking leader with significant experience in Supported Living and Mental Health with proven ability to lead service transformation.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Manager status or equivalent senior leadership role with current regulatory recognition
- Experience in Supported Living, Mental Heath, Learning disabilities, Autism or Forensic Services.
-Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, the Mental Health Capacity Act and quality assurance.
-Experience leading Teams and preparing for Inspections.
-Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or willingness to work towards it.
-Full UK Driving License, able to travel nationally and weekly travel to Tamworth, Staffordshire.
