We are seeking a skilled Windscreen Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Windscreen Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of windscreens in various vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform windscreen installations, repairs, and replacements on a variety of vehicles.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct thorough inspections of windscreens to identify damage and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper disposal of materials.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Assist with heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to windscreen installation and repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the installation process.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
