Plumber / Bathroom Fitter (Multi-Skilled)
We are a growing developer and contractor based in Cambridgeshire, delivering high-quality residential extensions, renovations, refurbishments and selected commercial projects.
As our workload continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Lead Plumber / Bathroom Fitter to join the team.
We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work. Someone who enjoys producing a high-quality finish, has exceptional attention to detail and can independently deliver bathroom installations from first fix through to final completion.
Whilst plumbing will be your core trade, we're also looking for someone who is genuinely multi-skilled, with good carpentry, tiling or similar trade experience.
About the Role
You'll be involved in a wide variety of projects including:
- High-end bathroom and shower room installations
- Whole house refurbishments
- Extensions
- Renovations
- New builds
- Commercial fit-outs
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two weeks are the same.
You'll often take ownership of plumbing and bathroom packages from start to finish, working alongside our Project Managers and other skilled trades to deliver an exceptional finished product.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete first and second fix plumbing works
- Independently deliver complete bathroom and shower room installations
- Carry out plumbing alterations and modifications
- Install sanitaryware, concealed cisterns, shower systems, furniture units and brassware
- Carry out non-gas heating system alterations
- Install and modify underfloor heating systems
- Work on unvented hot water systems (where qualified)
- Carry out associated carpentry including studwork, boxing-in, bath frames, access panels and second-fix joinery
- Complete high-quality wall and floor tiling
- Silicone finishing to a professional standard
- Read drawings and specifications
- Identify and resolve issues on site proactively
- Maintain exceptionally high standards of workmanship and cleanliness
- Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers and colleagues
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven plumbing and bathroom fitting experience
- Ability to complete full bathroom refurbishments independently
- High-quality wall and floor tiling
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Experience with underfloor heating systems
- Good carpentry skills
- Wet room installation experience
- Experience working within occupied homes
- CSCS Card
Gas Safe registration is not required.

Pay: £36,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
