You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.
We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.

Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to make a difference at our pharmacy on Newmarket Walk in Merthyr Tydfil.
This community pharmacy is located on the high street shopping precinct. It has a good relationship with the GP surgery.
How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 2,000 items a week.

It provides a wide range of services including cas avg 18-25 per week, dmr, flu, ehc, e/s, sttt, cas uti, smoking, weightloss.

It provides services to 8 substance misuse patients and 2 care homes.

It dispenses 88 community blisters.
This pharmacy is open 9:00AM until 6:00PM, MONDAY - FRIDAY. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of Pharm tech manager, 2 Trainees to NVQ2 and 1 on checking course near completion.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.
You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.
You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
