Full job description

We are seeking a reliable, caring and energetic nanny to provide wrap around childcare for our three children, aged 3, 7 and 9 years.

This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys working with children of different ages and is looking for a regular, part-time position supporting a busy family before and after school.

Key Responsibilities

Morning Routine

Arrive at the family home before school/nursery.
Support the children with their morning routine, including dressing, washing and preparing for the day.
Prepare and supervise breakfast.
Ensure school bags, lunchboxes and any required items are ready.
Safely accompany and/or drive the children to school and nursery.

Afternoon / After School Care

Collect the children from school and nursery.
Provide a safe, caring and engaging environment until parents return home.
Prepare and serve a simple, healthy dinner for the children.
Support with homework and reading.
Organise age-appropriate play, crafts and activities.
Encourage positive behaviour and routines.
Assist with bath time and evening preparation where required.

Additional Duties

Keeping children's areas tidy and organised.
Children's laundry (if agreed).
Preparing school uniforms and bags for the following day.
Communicating any important updates regarding the children's wellbeing, activities or routines.

Essential Requirements

Previous childcare experience.
Excellent references.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Paediatric First Aid qualification (preferred).
Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
Warm, nurturing and proactive approach to childcare.
Full driving licence and own vehicle.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
