Are you highly organised, practical, and passionate about delivering exceptional service? Emmanuel College is seeking a Function Room Coordinator to support the delivery of a wide range of events in our beautiful and historic central Cambridge setting.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week. This includes shifts involving 8am starts, 6pm finishes, and working alternate weekends on a rota basis.

The Role
As a Function Room Coordinator, you will play a key role in preparing and maintaining our function and meeting spaces to the highest standard. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and customer service are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and reset function rooms in line with event plans, including moving furniture

Ensure all event spaces are clean, presentable, and ready for use

Operate and test audio-visual equipment

Support the delivery of events and respond to client needs during functions

Maintain high standards of customer service at all times

Monitor and report maintenance issues or equipment faults

Assist with preparation for large events, including conferences and summer schools

Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
