Alongside working behind the chair, there may also be opportunities to become involved in other areas of the business depending on your strengths and interests, including education, social media, front of house, training support and helping support the salon behind the scenes.

Our team benefits from flexible working opportunities, including an alternating Saturday rota to help support a healthier work-life balance, something we know is important within the industry.
Applicants should be willing to work at least one late evening each week until 8pm and participate in the salon’s alternating Saturday rota, with flexibility to balance contracted hours across the week where suitable.

Duties
- Providing high-quality hair services including cutting, colouring and styling
- Delivering exceptional customer service and care creating a welcoming experience for every client
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working as part of a supportive, positive and professional salon team
- Recommending and educating clients on suitable prescriptions and salon treatments
- Maintaining high standards of salon cleanliness and presentation
- Supporting salon social media content and helping showcase salon culture where appropriate
- Attending training sessions, team meetings and salon huddles within working hours
- Contributing ideas, feedback and positive input to support the growth of the salon and team culture
- Managing appointment timings effectively while maintaining quality service
- Supporting a collaborative team environment where communication and teamwork are valued
- Contributing positively to the fun, friendly and energetic atmosphere within the salon
Skills & Qualities
We’re looking for someone who is:
- NVQ Qualified, and at least 3 years salon experience
- Passionate about the hair industry and delivering beautiful results
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with clients
- Positive, motivated and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a busy / high paced salon environment
- Keen to continue learning, developing and growing within the industry
- Open to constructive feedback, coaching and goal setting to support both personal and professional growth
- Confident in recommending and prescribing suitable home haircare based on each client’s individual needs
- Motivated to maximise opportunities for growth, performance and commission-based earnings
- Reliable, professional and organised
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team while following salon systems and processes to help maintain a seamless client experience and strong salon culture
- Creative, enthusiastic and passionate about client transformations and education
- Someone who brings positive energy, professionalism and a good sense of humour to the team
