Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Coach for our Tots Football Fun programme. This role involves inspiring young children to develop their football skills in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. As a Lead Coach, you will be responsible for planning engaging sessions, fostering team spirit, and ensuring a positive experience for all participants.

Responsibilities

Lead and organise engaging football sessions tailored for young children, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and enjoyable
Provide clear instruction and demonstrate basic football techniques to young participants
Foster a safe environment by supervising activities and promoting good sportsmanship
Support the development of children's motor skills, coordination, and confidence through fun drills and games
Maintain equipment and ensure the playing area is safe and well-organised
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding programme progress and upcoming events

Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching, particularly with young children, is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to motivate children and create an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere
Knowledge of football fundamentals and child development principles

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
