Hours and Salary
24 hours per week with a half hour lunch break unpaid. Weekly hours may be increased later. The times may vary however the general working week would be Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The wage is NMW.

Someone who cares about the quality of work and attention to detail is important. You should be flexible in your attitude towards duties and a good team player as we have a hands on approach within the company. You should be reliable and trustworthy.
Experience / Knowledge
Knowledge or experience of excel spreadsheets to a level where you can use basic formulas would be advantageous. Preferably, you should have had some previous work experience but this is not essential. The job does involve some heavy lifting and so you should be physically fit enough to do this. A clean driving license would be advantageous.
What responsibilities will they have and what systems will they be using on the job?
Warehouse: Assisting with stock - involves heavy lifting in some instances; checking deliveries in and processing on system; order picking and packing customer orders; identifying and labelling goods for stock; packing and stacking boxes of components for storage; housekeeping in work and storage areas to ensure safe working environment and serving customers.
Admin: Contact with customers and suppliers by telephone, email and face to face; preparing and amending excel spreadsheets (including formulas); updating and maintaining webshop site; checking delivery notes, purchase orders and invoices and raising queries; typing up paperwork and printing invoices, filing, taking customer payments; organising courier deliveries and general administration.
Systems: Excel, Word, Thunderbird, Kashflow and webshop software.
