Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic Services team operating in Lanarkshire and Glasgow. As a Facilities Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our facilities, contributing to the smooth operation of our premises. Key location Lanarkshire for OSPA serviced offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance tasks as part of a multi-disciplined team, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
Act as a key point of contact for communication with the facilities team, reporting and prioritising any issues while tracking and managing the tasks to resolution.
Collaborate closely with the Services team to execute planned and reactive maintenance activities efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues, taking proactive measures to prevent disruptions to production.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritising tasks to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Document maintenance activities accurately, including work performed, materials used, and any additional information required for record-keeping purposes.
On call weekend rota 1:4

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
Proficiency in a range of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and external contractors.
A proactive approach to maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality.
