Taylors of Grampound Limited is an established, family-run domiciliary care provider delivering high-quality care across Cornwall and Devon since 2003. Due to continued growth in our Live-In Care service, we are recruiting a Live-In Care Coordinator to support this expanding department.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing service with clear progression opportunities as the department develops.
The Role
This role is primarily office-based at our Truro premises, with occasional travel across Cornwall and Devon for new client assessments and care planning as required.
You will support the smooth day-to-day operation of our Live-In Care department and play a key role in maintaining high standards in line with CQC regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Department administration and coordination
- Liaising with clients, families and external professionals
- Conducting face-to-face client assessments for new care packages
- Completing risk assessments
- Writing and updating person-centred care plans
- Supporting CQC compliance, audits and quality monitoring
- Assisting with safeguarding processes
- Contributing to care reviews and continuous improvement
- Holding an on call system on a rota basis
You will help ensure services remain safe, effective, responsive and well-led in line with CQC Fundamental Standards.
Hours
- Monday, Wednesday & Thursday (24 hours)
- 9:00am–5:00pm
- Permanent position (subject to probation)
- Expected to increase to full-time as the department grows
Salary & Bonus
£17,472 per annum (based on 3 days per week, 8 hours per day including breaks)
Monthly Performance-Related Bonus (from February 2026):
- Applies in months where Live-In Care supports more than 10 active packages
- Paid on packages above the first 10
- £50 per package (11–15 active packages)
- £60 per package (16–20 active packages)
- £70 per package (21+ active packages)
- Pro-rata where packages start or end part-way through the month
- Discretionary, non-contractual and reviewed monthly
About You
Essential:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and professional approach aligned with high-quality care values
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable:
- Experience in domiciliary or live-in care
- Understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
- Experience supporting audits, safeguarding or care reviews
- Familiarity with person-centred care planning
