We are currently recruiting to add to our existing small team based in East Kilbride. Ideally, the successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in an accountancy firm. They will be a strong team player, with great attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
The main tasks within the role are:
Preparation of annual accounts
Preparation of VAT returns
Payroll processing
Pensions Auto enrolment
Adhoc duties as required
This role would suit a graduate or for an experienced bookkeeper who is looking to develop their skills.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: -
- Bookkeeping, payroll and VAT processing experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft outlook, excel & word
- Organised, Proactive and Confident.
- Positive & enthusiastic attitude
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to deal with colleagues and clients in a professional manner
Experience with Cloud bookkeeping, Moneysoft and Sage would be an advantage although training will be provided to the successful candidate.
