Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated UPVC Window & Door Fabricator / Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating UPVC windows and doors with precision and efficiency. The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for detail, good mechanical aptitude, and experience working with hand and power tools.
Duties
- Assemble UPVC window and door components according to technical specifications and drawings
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and join materials
- Use assembly jigs and fixtures to ensure accurate fabrication of products
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assist in loading finished products onto transport or storage areas as required
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments is preferred, especially warehouse experience
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and saws
- Experience with power tools used in fabrication or assembly tasks
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a workshop setting
