Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches ready to send out to our other outlets and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will work in a fast-paced environment, where your culinary skills and attention to detail will be essential. Early mornings are essential (3am starts).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to business specifications.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the preparation process.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required.
- Ensure that the prep area is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary ingredients.
- Manage time effectively to ensure deliveries can go out on time.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
