Overview
We are seeking a dedicated In-store Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the store remains a welcoming and safe space for customers and staff alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail setting, contributing to a positive shopping experience.mon,wed fri 8am-9.30am

Duties

Clean and disinfect all designated areas including floors, windows, shelves, and fixtures to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces regularly throughout the store.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, and staff facilities.
Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure bins are emptied frequently.
Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or contamination.
Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently during designated shifts.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
Good organisational skills and reliability are essential qualities for success in this role. This position offers a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness standards of our store, ensuring a pleasant environment for both customers and staff.
