Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced, friendly and motivated Windscreen Technician to join our growing team.
This is a role that offers plenty of variety; some days you’ll be working from our Sittingbourne base, and on others, you’ll be out on the road assisting customers. We’re looking for someone who will enjoy being in a mobile role and can work well independently.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for removing, refitting and repairing windscreens and windows for all kinds of different vehicles, from cars and vans to HGVs and tractors. You might also be involved in more specialist services, like vehicle diagnostics and ADAS calibration.
Key responsibilities
- Remove and replace vehicle windscreens and windows
- Carry out high-quality chip repairs
- Support with vehicle diagnostics and ADAS calibration
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Work independently without direct supervision
- Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
Skills & experience
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- 2+ years of experience as a Windscreen Technician (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Automotive Glazing (preferred)
- Previous experience with vehicle diagnostics and ADAS calibration (desirable)
- Previous experience handling Lil’ Buddy tools (desirable)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
