Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Loft Conversions Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist in the transformation of loft spaces into functional living areas, supporting various trades and ensuring the smooth progress of projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the construction industry, working on residential conversions and building projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of loft conversion projects, including demolition, framing, insulation, and finishing works
- Handle and operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and setting up scaffolding or protective coverings as required
- Assist with masonry work, including bricklaying or concrete tasks where necessary
- Support fabrication and assembly tasks as directed by supervisors
- Assist with site organisation, including material handling and storage
Skills
- Previous experience or knowledge in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or construction is advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
- Basic understanding of schematics and construction drawings is desirable

- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
