Full job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 1 gymnastics or Cheer coach to support weekly sessions in Helsby on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. This role involves delivering our First Gymnastics programme , ensuring safety standards, and fostering a positive environment for all participants.

Duties

Using our First Gymnastics Programme and framework design and implement fun and engaging gymnastics sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes and groups.
Educate gymnasts on proper techniques, skills progression, and safety practices in gymnastics..
Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Organise and lead warm-up exercises, drills, and conditioning activities to improve strength and flexibility.
Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for gymnastics among all participants.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

Level 1 Gymnastics or Cheer coaching qualification is required
Up to date DBS needed - we can facilitate this
Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate athletes effectively.
Ability to work well with children and young adults in a supportive manner..
A passion for sports coaching and a commitment to the development of athletes at all levels.
