Job description

OCL Solicitors is a rapidly expanding law firm dealing largely in Road Traffic Accident Litigation and are looking to expand our Recovery team within the credit hire department.

This opportunity gives you the chance to work for a specialist personal injury law firm which has great scope for internal progression, multiple staff benefits and the chance to earn additional bonus.

The role is fast paced but requires attention to detail as you will be dealing with multiple cases with different scenarios. The ideal candidate will have experience however all applicants will be considered as full training will be provided to any successful applicants.

A successful candidate must have:

Ability to learn fast and efficiently in a professional environment.
Ability to manage a large work load.
Ability to manage your own diary and task list to ensure that you work efficiently and effectively on your own.
A high standard of English/grammatical skills.
A confident phone manner.
Good IT skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Help the company mitigate losses with thorough review of losses and fraud detection.
Liaise with third party services and other organisations with regards to repairs, storage and recovery and credit hire.
Ability to use a case management system.
Negotiating with third party solicitors to achieve settlement before litigation.
Arranging payments for settlements, costs and disbursements.

The hours required to work for this role are Monday to Friday - 9am – 5:30pm.

Pay: £15,000.00-£25,557.00 per year

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

customer service: 1 year (preferred)
