A great opportunity to join a highly dynamic and varied role in the asbestos consultancy industry assisting asbestos surveyors and analysts on asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys.
Flexible working days and arrangements available, the role would suit a handy, experienced worker with DIY skills to help surveyors investigate within the make-up of various buildings and patch repair/make good afterwards.
If you are active, like getting out and about, travelling and seeing the built world then this is for you. Full on the job training will be given, including PPE and RPE as required. No asbestos industry related experience necessary.
Duties:
To assist the surveyor to undertake their role in a efficient and safe manner. This may include but is not limited to:
- Helping to set-up and erect ladders and access equipment
- Opening up and investigating areas under the surveyor's instruction and making good as required
- Sampling of potential asbestos containing materials (following instruction & full training)
- Logging sample references on sample bags and collating samples
