The Opportunity
The Mid Term Planning and Forecasting Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining resource plans and forecasts across Operations, focused on a long term view. This role will ensure that the organisation has the right plans to enable decision making to meet current and future business needs.
Key Accountabilities or Responsibilities:

Convert long term forecasts into mid term resource plans that take account of intraday and intra month profiles and emerging trends.

Continuously monitor actual versus forecasted volumes, to understand trends and ensure appropriate recommendations for future forecasts.

Maintain a robust supply plan, monitoring impacts on capacity and making recommendations which improve capacity and demand alignment.

Ensure forecasts are updated within the workforce management system

Provide adhoc impact assessments for emerging activities.

Work closely with the wider planning team to ensure plans are effectively handed off for execution and key metrics are aligned.
