Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food production and hospitality to develop their skills within a supportive team setting. Previous restaurant experience and leadership qualities are highly valued.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow
Manage food production processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes
Assist in food presentation, garnishing, and portion control to meet customer expectations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Contribute to menu development and innovation as part of the culinary team

Qualifications

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Supervising experience or demonstrated leadership skills in a culinary context
Excellent team management abilities with the capacity to motivate colleagues
Familiarity with hospitality operations, including serving procedures and customer service principles
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are advantageous but not essential
A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development within the hospitality industry

Pay: £28,420.00-£33,402.40 per year
