The Role
No two days are quite the same, but you can expect to:
- Lead and inspire a fantastic front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer experiences every day.
- Keep service flowing smoothly, whether it's a quiet weekday morning or a packed summer weekend.
- Work closely with our Estate Cook to ensure our delicious food and drinks are always looking their best and fully stocked.
- Bring afternoon teas, seasonal specials, and tearoom events to life.
- Manage rotas, recruitment, training, and team development, helping everyone perform at their best.
- Keep a close eye on budgets, stock, sales, and profitability while reducing waste and improving efficiency.
- Champion food safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Turn customer feedback into opportunities to make the visitor experience even better.
What we’re looking for
You'll be someone who:
- Has at least 3 years' hospitality management experience.
- Loves leading and motivating teams.
- Is passionate about exceptional customer service.
- Can stay calm, organised, and positive when things get busy.
- Understands stock control, budgeting, and commercial performance.
- Has experience managing food safety, allergens, and HACCP procedures.
- Enjoys finding creative ways to grow sales and delight visitors.
Why join us
- Work in a beautiful and unique setting.
- Lead a passionate and friendly team.
- Play a key role in shaping the visitor experience.
- Have the freedom to introduce new ideas, events, and products.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality manager who wants more than just another cafe role. If you're excited by the idea of leading a thriving tearoom, developing a great team and creating memorable visitor experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
